Who we are

MniaPOS Hub is the mobile app of MniaPOS, the point of sale for salons and stores, provided by MniaPOS ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with information about you.

Your employer runs its own MniaPOS system (the store's POS and its business system). The information about your work there belongs to your employer, which decides how it is used and kept. The app shows it to you and sends to it what you do in the app.

What the app uses

• Your work email: when your business adds you to MniaPOS Hub, it sends us your work email so we can ask you to confirm it is you; when you find your business in the app, the app sends it to us so we can email you a code. We keep only a protected fingerprint of the email, not the email itself, with the businesses that added you and whether you confirmed them. To limit abuse, we also keep the network address of requests for codes for a short time.
• Your sign-in: you sign in on your business's own page. The app keeps the sign-in on the phone in its secure storage (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android) and tells your business the phone's name and type, so it can see and sign out your devices.
• Your work: your appointments, tickets, earnings, pay stubs, schedule, time off, ratings and notifications, and the customers you serve, come from your business's system and are shown to you.
• Your location: only when you clock in, clock out or take a break, the app sends where the phone is at that moment to your business, which checks that you are at the store and keeps it with that entry. Owners also send it once when they set where the store is. The app does not follow your location at other times.
• Your photo: only the photo you choose or take for your employee profile, sent to the store's POS.
• What you send: time off requests, appointments you book or move, notes, and for owners announcements, alerts and staff settings.

Face ID, fingerprint and passcode

If you turn on Lock MniaPOS Hub, your phone checks your face, fingerprint or passcode. The app only learns whether the phone was unlocked; it never receives your face or fingerprint.

What we never do

• No advertising, and no advertising or analytics tools in the app.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.
• No selling or renting information about you, and no sharing with data brokers.

How it is protected

Everything the app sends travels encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in keys are kept in the phone's secure storage. Your business's system and our servers limit who can see what: staff see their own work, and only owners see the whole store.

How long it is kept

Signing out of the app removes your business, your sign-in and the app's copies of your work from the phone. Your business keeps its records of your work as it decides and as the law requires. We delete codes, and the network addresses of requests for them, about a day after they expire; we keep the fingerprint of your email, and your answers, while the business that added you uses MniaPOS.

Your choices and rights

You can turn off location, camera and photos access in your phone's settings (clocking in from the phone needs location). For the information your business keeps, such as your hours and pay, ask your employer. To ask us about, or to delete, what we keep, contact us below. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete information about you.

Children

MniaPOS Hub is a workplace app for employees and business owners, and is not meant for children.
